Springbok & Rooibos

Springbok & Rooibos is a lean, game-rich raw meal built around Springbok-derived ingredients, including muscle meat, heart, lung, tripe, liver, kidney and spleen.

Springbok muscle provides the main protein foundation, while heart and lung allow us to use more of the animal and contribute highly digestible protein, iron and naturally occurring B vitamins. Springbok tripe adds palatability and further animal-protein variety. Because Springbok is naturally lean, the recipe is balanced with beef tongue root, meaty duck carcass and whole Atlantic mackerel. Tongue root provides fatty muscle meat and additional energy, while the duck carcass contributes natural edible bone together with residual meat, skin and fat.

Whole Atlantic mackerel supplies naturally occurring marine omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, alongside vitamin D, selenium and additional protein. A small amount of flaxseed oil supports the separate ALA omega-3 requirement, while high-linoleic sunflower oil helps reinforce the essential omega-6 profile.

Springbok liver, kidney and spleen are selected for specific nutritional purposes. Liver contributes vitamin A, copper, folate and other B vitamins; kidney provides selenium and B vitamins; and spleen is particularly valuable as a natural source of haem iron.

Why rooibos?

Rooibos naturally contains antioxidant polyphenols and gives Springbok & Rooibos a distinctly South African botanical identity. It is used at a small, controlled level to complement the whole-food formulation without creating a strong flavour that could reduce palatability.

Springbok & Rooibos contains Springbok, duck, beef and fish.

It is a multi-protein meal and is not suitable for dogs requiring a strict single-protein elimination diet. Please contact us should you require an elimination diet.

Suitable for

Puppies, healthy adult dogs, active and working dogs, breeding dogs, pregnant dogs and lactating dogs.

Formulated to provide complete and balanced nutrition for dogs at all life stages, including growth and reproduction.

Feeding guide

Adult dogs: feed approximately 2–3% of ideal body weight daily.

Active and working dogs: approximately 3–4% daily.

Puppies: approximately 5–8% of current body weight daily, divided between three or four meals. Gradually reduce the percentage as growth slows.

Pregnant and lactating dogs: approximately 3–6% or more daily, depending on body condition and litter size.

Adjust according to age, expected adult size, activity level, metabolism and body condition.

Storage

Keep frozen.

Defrost under refrigeration and use within 48 hours. Do not refreeze once completely thawed.
